Front mounting point for winch bumper?

Can someon tell me how for apart the mounting points on the chassis are on the 84 truck? I found a tube bumper on craigslist for a real good price and I wanted to know if I could make it work for my LC with some drilling for new mounting points.

You mean the stock mounting locations for a stock bumper? The vertical distance between holes is 2" and the horizontal distance between these stacked holes is 19-5/8".

A word of caution... most of the double-tube bumpers utilize the radiator support-to-frame mounting locations and these vary between 79-83 trucks and 84-88 trucks. And in 1986, the dimensions for the mounting holes for the stock bumper changed from a 2" vertical gap to a larger gap (probably 3"). So, when you buy this bumper... find out what it came off of to verify correct radiator support mounting location.

On my Smittybilt double-tube bumper, the brackets that bolt to the front crossmember came with holes drlled for both an 84-85 truck AND an 86-88 truck to reduce production costs.
