I recently picked up an '85 for cheap, and right away I noticed it had what looked like a dealer installed decal package. The whole truck at some point had been rattle canned black, and the decals were painted over. A few weeks ago I was bored and have a large assortment of paint in rattlecans to quarts and pints, from various projects. I decided to paint in the hood stripes in Ironman Stewart colors, sans the yellow since there were only two stripes...



My truck was originally blue, and I was curious if anyone was familiar with, or owned a truck with a similar decal package. And what the original colors for the stripes were, without me needing to sand all my paint off just to see lol! Although I am not entirely opposed to it! Feel free to post ANY decal package here, I love period correct modifications to older vehicles. That and it will make this thread more valuable to people searching on this subject.

Theres a light blue 1gen that I have seen popping up alot locally that looks real clan and factory that sais "MIRAGE" real big down the sides... I'll get a pic of it next time I see it stationary somewhere
