bad ignitor?
I've got a 22R in an 85 truck that won't start. I believe the cause to be no spark because when I spray either into the carb it won't fire up. The signal generator is showing 156 ohms which looks to be within specs. The primary resistance on the igniter is .6 ohms. My Haynes book says that should be .4 to .5. The secondary resistance is 8.96K ohms and is within the specs of 8.5 to 11.5K ohms. Could the .1 over of resistance of the primary mean the igniter is bad?
This engine was running fine until I degunked it... I checked the dizzy and all electrical connectors for moisture and they all look fine.
Thanks
Gary

I was getting spark from the coil to #1 cylinder, but not to the rest. I replaced the plugs and wires and she runs fine now. Never heard of wires going bad overnight like this. Weird.
