85 4runner Lift Questions

I have an 85 Toyota 4runner 22re and just picked up a set of 31x10.5x15 goodyear kevlar mt/r want to mount them but for some reason there isnt a whole lot of room under there so i was thinking i have some extra leaf springs out of the back of a 93 3.slow ex cab pick up and was wanting to throw them up front on my runner since the stock leafs are pritty much flat, also i was gonna order some boomerang shackles from sky manufacturing so i could get a inch front and back, does anybody know if the v6 leafs will give me any lift? will i have to replace shocks break lines ect. with a small lift? and how much of lift would be recomended for 31's? Keep in mind this is the first straight axle ive attempted to lift , for some reason the ifs trucks and runners seem a bit higher from stock, thanks for the advice

Your springs are shot, and adding a few leafs to them won`t help at all. Its very common for the stock spring to go flat and at that point you need to just replace them. You can get some 2'' or 3'' lift springs that will bolt on. It would be a good idea to replace the shocks and add longer brake lines to be on the safe side.

You sure can. Youll need to add a few more leafs to the pack to support the front end though.
