22re smoking......
Here's the deal.....
1985 4runner w/ 22re
Ever since I installed the body lift it's had this problem.
Starts up fine, no hesitation or roughness, no smells.
Once up to operating temp it starts to smoke. Not alot, just lightly but coinsistently. Smoke increases as RPM's increase whether under load or not. Smoke is white/gray in color.
No power loss, runs/ idles/ pulls fine.
I know you'll think I'm crazy, but it didn't do this until after the body lift. It's only been driven about 10 miles since the body lift, just got the high idle fixed. (Throttle cable needed to be adjusted)
Supposedly the head gasket was changed about 10,000 miles ago (per previous owner FWIW), and I don't suspect it too much because there is no smoke or coolant smell on startup. Smoke doesn't start until it's up to temp. Also, oil looks clean on dipstick and under the oil filler cap looks normal, not milky.
Any ideas?
