WTB Aftermarket header 1979 w/ 20r 2WD 4 speed
Hi all,
I’ve got a 1979 Toyota Pickup with 20r - 2 wheel drive, 4 speed.
im looking for a new header for her. The LCE ones don’t fit as they’re for 4 wd versions . Anyone had any luck with a 2wd drive option? I’d rather not do any fabrication other than cutting for length.

Yes. I have great recommendation. Summit racing sells a great long tube header fits right in and works great. Hooker header.
Two tips I would like to add. When you install the header make sure the bolts from the steering box are facing away from the header. If the nuts are facing the header you wont be able to fit the new header in, the bolts are long and will rub. Also I would recommend wrapping it in that heat repellent fabric before you install it. Otherwise you will be able to hear the exhaust going out of the pipe and it will be hot in the engine bay.
