you sure you put the fuel lines on properly and didn't mix any of the three up? It's easy to do.

Don't feel bad, I did the same thing and mixed up the return and supply lines from the tank. The line to the carb was easy.
Now just keep an eye on that moisture build up. You might have to clean the cap and dipstick/tube several times to work it out. But eventually it should go away for the most part.

so i dont think i did hook them up wrong my budy has the same truck and i had a look at his fuel pump and i was right the first time. so i changed it back and it drives better and ildles good except every once in a while when i idle it almost stalls its self out kind of stutering? i dont know why cause i tryed tunning it but it dosent matter how i tune it still will happen. any ideas?

Living in such a wet environment, you might have some water in your gas tank causing that intermittent ˟˟˟˟˟ty idle.
