I want to know also if theres any simple mods i can do to it to make it run abit better on the roads. i found on ebay a aluminium turbine that u place in the air intake pipe to run better, probably a load of BS, but for 15 bucks aussie dollars its ok. So yeah if u know of any good mods i can do to the engines proformance wise it would help greatly.
Your fuel injectors have likely clogged from all the LPG combustion without any gasoline. The soot from the LPG has clogged them.

As for the original topic, if you really wanted your 22R to haul @$$, you should consider doing the header, exhaust, intake(or maybe flip the top of the filter so you get more air, but less filtration) cam, and get some 5.71 gears, and some 225-75 tires, or smaller. That should make the little 22R quite peppy, esp. if you drive down hill quite often

what? propane burns clean....
he's probably not getting power because the timing is advanced a considerable amount to run pane. running gas the timing is too advanced to run properly.

back to the original question. if you want to go fast, you bought the wrong vehicle to begin with. sell it, buy your mom's honda civic, stick a coffee can on the back for a muffler, put your had on crooked and you'll be the coolest and fastest guy in town. oh, and don't forget to remove the hubcaps!!

post your own thread in the correct folder instead of hi-jacking this one and convert to a 3.4. other than that I would replace your fuel filter, fuel pump and clean your injectors

If I wanted my 22R powered truck to go fast, I'd sell the 22R and put a small block in it. It's essentially a fork lift motor, it's not fast, it wasn't meant to be fast, you can swap in something like a RamJet 350 crate motor cheaper than you can make a 22R breath fire.

but when a 22R breathes fire, then it aint messin around.. depending on what you do to it... it could have over 900 HP. now it wouldnt be worth the cost, but its possible to have a 22R that powerful.
