What?! A turbo...are you serious? Do you even know anything about turbochargers?
Based on all of your (17 so far) posts, you need to A. Do MORE research and stop asking so many questions, and B. Start doing things. If you REALLY want to do an engine swap, research advance adapters.
Unless you have a lot of money, a turbo swap really isn't a smart idea.

Slam your fingers in the door everytime you get in. Get mad at it. thats the only way i can gain speed with a 4 cyl.
Turbo = huge difference
If you want to go this route i would get the 38 (redline) weber outlaw.
Freshin your motor up, Bore it 1mm and make it breath well(cam, carb, exhaust). It will be a lot better than it is now. Also if your running oversize tires, Gear for them.

Yea and the oil too!
My friend actually bought the expensive arse plugs with the 3prong for his little whimpy 3.0 nissan. I told him not to waste his money, but the guy at the counter insisted they will give more power, worst part is he believes they do!

redline = weber i thought redline bought them out. Not to sure though.
I have had all sorts of webers. There great when there new, def. power difference.
death - what do you mean has anyone done it? Turbo charged pinto and VW motors in rails. You can blow through or draw through doesn't really matter. Don't get me wrong your prob going to tune and jet for a while so you don't cook your motor. But turbo's don't really care.

I've turboed a few engines....But never a carbed car engine...my bike is turbo and that was a custom job...so I know tuning is a must...Im just worried about compression...I heard that these engine can handle it...and if they can...why not do it..All I need is the bov, turbo, boost controller, down pipe, and headers...

If I wanted a 22r that would haul ass I'd get this
http://www.toyotacatalog.net/M1WebGe...8-CF00962D53E1
with one of these
http://www.toyotacatalog.net/M1WebGe...6-A301EF858C5A
and a weber 38 and msd ignition. Also throw on an opened up exhaust system (headers, 2.25" all the way back, high flow muffler)
That said, opening the exhaust will give you a tad bit more power. Not like that, but you will be able to notice it.

hey there guys, i want more power aswell, i got a 91 4runner 3.0l engine just had it converted to LPG. every time i take it to the mechanic they say theres nothing wrong with it, when i drive it on petrol there lag when i excelerate, then when i drop the revs it spatters and sounds like its gonna stall, this is even after its warmed up. then again when i change it to LPG it runs perfect.
I want to know also if theres any simple mods i can do to it to make it run abit better on the roads. i found on ebay a aluminium turbine that u place in the air intake pipe to run better, probably a load of BS, but for 15 bucks aussie dollars its ok. So yeah if u know of any good mods i can do to the engines proformance wise it would help greatly.
