Rock Taxi
Well, I guess I'll start this up now.
This weekend I picked up a new future trail rig. I won't lie that it needs some work but it's not that bad at all.
82 Toyota Hilux Short Bed, Regular Cab. 22R, 4spd and a top shift t-case, 4.30 gears.
Here's the problems.
On the 25th it goes to my buddy's place to get the frame and body patched up and maybe set up the suspension, we'll see about that.

Did some work on cleaning some of the parts up.
Painted the header up. The outlet looks HUGE!
Cleaned up the manifold and carb.
The manifold is an Edelbrock Performer, I think it's OLD because Edelbrock no longer makes it.
The carb is a Holley, again old!
The power steering set up.
That's it for now. I'm gather parts for the build. Ordered some stuff but I won't say what till it gets here and I take pics.

Picked up some more stuff over the pass couple of days.
63" Chevys BARELY fit into a Civic Hatchback but I got them there.
Got my 2nd case for dual (got a deal on a bunch of stuff case included, won't do duals till next year). The top case is for a friend's Sammy.
Plus carb'd an el cheapo inline filter for my carb.

Thanks, it's coming together.
I want to get this done for the May 24th long weekend. We've got a nice run planned so I'm hoping the truck will be ready.
Thanks.
Thanks man.
82-83s definately look the best, it's the grill imo.
Also ordered my shocks today, Pro Comp ES9000s 15" travel (35.88" extended/20.36" collapsed). Plus I ordered the last part of my exhaust system, a Flowmaster Hushpower 2 (2.25" in/out, 4"x5"x18" T409 Stainless).

Picked up the truck today :booya:
Here's a few pics I took, the floors, the front axle and the over all truck.
The driver's side front wheel is a lil seized, I'm not sure what it is. Either knuckles or the brakes are seized. Both of which will be rebuilt so I don't really care.
I'm gonna get it running good this week. Need to swap the new carb on, do a tune up and change the oil. This is all dependent on the weather though. If it's cold and/or snowy, screw it.
