so, you can just switch to "crawl" mode and back onroad too? like mega low 4WD? hmm. cool. do you have to extend the linkage for the front dif? or shorten the rear?

with the dual transfer case you have to lengthen the front and shorten the rear,

My Rear shaft Is only one I have at the moment. I cut off one end and had to weld end of a chevy shaft in due to the gm style drive flange on the axle. I'll get a picture of it tomorrow. For paint I used rustolium high heat engine primer and paint. Can pick it up at autozone or most auto supply stores. The only rust that was on this truck when I got it was in the original bed. Other then that have yet to find any rust on it. And its been in salt water and the dunes.

Made some decent progress this weekend. Changed out my front tube's, finished roof bars and interior is finally all buttoned up.

Before

What I plan to do

After

The finished roof bars

Few Photo's out of the shop

Here is were I cut my drive shaft right before it necked down and I slipped the chevy drive flange in and welded it up.

Hey that's a 2wd pan! i guess with that much clearance, you prolly don't have to worry about the axle hitting the sump.

Yeah. The last sump got demolished by a front axle truss an no bump stops. Never thought bout it when I put truss on. Ran great for a year an a half with smashed sump and the pick up was smashed just a but as well. Was actually shocked. As far as i know its a 4wd pan as well but could be wrong. Sure looks exact same as my old one.

Just over a year in build time right now, kind of depressing but, I'm a month or 2 away from having it completed. Oh an that's one year of just building on weekends minus a few weekends lol.

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...art:Oil+Pan%29
the one on top is the 2wd

HAHA I wish, progress is slow. Talking to the drive line shop this week. A lot of finish welding to be done. Need to find a front window and a left side fender. Cage should be finished tacked and pulled next weekend if goes to plan.

Gears installed

Rear disc conversion complete

Got a new toy for the shop so spent the day installing. 2 post A symmetrical Rotory hoist

If work is slow this week I'm going to try shooting some paint on the flat bed and getting the frame preped to get a better coat of paint on.

Need suggestions for a decent 14in travel shock that isnt going to break the bank at the moment( I'd like bilstein 5150s) but dont got the coin at the moment . Hopefully I get a sweet deal on my drive lines

We'll finally made good head way. Cage was finished pulled off an welded. All the small little ends got welded up. Rear 2.5x1/4 DOM drive shaft was put in. Front shaft is on back order till 1st of January. Even took her out and played in the mudd a bit in the field. Looking for a sweet deal on some 14in socks then its paint and play
