Block Heater
I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find a block heater for my 83.
Just moved up to ND and it gets about negative 30 here in the winter.
Some say it would be fine with out one but I don't want to risk it.
Any ideas?

No, you will not be fine. It may start sometimes, but it will hate you. Especially being carb'd.
Go to Schucks(O'Reilly's)/ NAPA/CarQuest/Your-parts-store-of-choice and ask for a block heater for your '83 truck.
Also, while you are at it, get an oil pan, battery and transmission heater pads. You and your Yota will thank me later. They are about $20 each and you need a tube of red silicone stuff. It takes like an hour to put on.
