20r 22r?
hey all,
would a starter from a '84 22r work on a '80 20r??
and what would you all say would be in a 1980 pickup? if u had to guess without looking at the engine

I would guess a 20r and i would also guess it would work

would 20r be written on the motor anywhere like on top? anyway of indicating it

Most parts on a 22r before 84 will be a direct swap with 20r. Exact same motors except bore and head/intake.

Its on the drivers side of the block, you can see it if you look its stamped in pretty good.
