New toys

Picked up a new welder with a spool gun for aluminum to replace my trusty Miller-Matic 175. This thing is a freaking "flamethrower" compared to my 175 I was used to using. It actually tripped a 60 amp 220 breaker when I was playing with it the 1st day.

Thermal Arc Fabricator 251
300 amps @40%
250 amps @60%
200 amps @100%

It takes some adjustment when you are used to setting the machine a little hot all the time for good penetration. You set this thing a little hot and it starts burning holes in stuff. I had no idea how cool (Very hot actually) spray welding is.

Very cool setup you have.

What is the first thing you are going to fab up?

I built just about everything I needed with my MM175. All I can think of is a traction bar.
