Here are the 'after' pics of conigirl's 3rd gen. She got an award for the most damaged vehicle at this years' jambo. This happened on their way down Friday...

What it looked like before, in case you missed my earlier post...

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the accident.

If it happened off road ins. probably won't cover it unless she had an off road rider on the policy.

It happened on the freeway, on the way to the event. Her insurance is supposed to let her know the value this week. Hopefully she'll be driving a new (used) 3rd gen soon. She and her daughter weren't hurt, and they've still got the 1st gen to wheel around in, so it's not all bad.

Conigirl - well, you could buy it back from insurance, and part it out, depending on how much they give you. That TRD grill could go to some of the members here haha

Ok my yotatech buds...97 4runner officially totaled, and dave has generously offered his shop and expertise to "part out" this 3rd gen....i will be saving some stuff for the "new" upcoming 3rd gen...it's still out there in the world, but that's what i'm looking for....Sooooo standby ...parts headed your way....!
And again thanks for all the nice thoughts...the crash and the fact that we were able to walk away .....is still with me...and i feel that the 4runner saved our lives....along with the guardian angel working overtime on a friday afternoon on the freeway.....
