loved ur swap thread, the pictures really helped me to understand somewhat needs to be done with the 1uzfe. i recently found a 89 yota auto trans 500 and the 1uzfe for 400 figured id tell you as you may know someone who needs. im still too intimidated myself to tackle the 1uz

I welded the threaded bung to a piece of 1" diameter tube that was long enough to cover the sensor. then I drilled 1/4 hole in the exhaust pipe and welded the tube over where I drilled the hole. It basically only allows enough exhaust that can fit through the 1/4" hole to pass over the sensor, thus mimicking what the cat does. Works like a charm.
