man ive got a problem with my truck its up to you wether you want to answer or not but i really need it right now. Here goes . Ive got a 1980 2.2 ltr 2 wheel drive with a 20 r totally rebuilt engine with a new head. Before i took the old engine out my flasher started sticking and my brake lights went out. The battery got so damn hot the lids came off and it was as light as a feather. Had to get a new one. Its got a new voltage reg on it good fuses good alternator good grounds. Can you tell me why the blinkers are sticking and the brake light wont come on at all. I even put diffrent flashers in it but no good.
