Ive had my yota for three months now. its a 87 4wd single cab. Its sittin on bfg 33" mud terrains. It has a 3 inch rancho body lift kit. It also has a chevy 305 ci engine with a chevy tc and tranny. I have dual cherry bomb pipes running out the back. I'm trying to work out the kinks in the motor. Ive done a complete tune up. I also have had to replace bearings and ball joints. Ive got a crazy 'backfire' noise coming from the carb i think. It only makes the noise when i give it a good bit of throttle. And it will continue to pop as long as my foot is on the gas. I believe its what is holding my motor back. I have the power of a 4 cylinder when i have a v8. If any one has any suggestions they will be greatly appreciated
