Ok guys Im as green as they get... My son and I have been working on his 1990 SR5 3.0. Hes had it about 2 years now, miles are unknown but im sure over 200k. Been running fine then one day notices it starts getting harder to start each morning until finally he was having to squirt a little ether in the breather. After doing that for a while it eventually just stocked started all together...the only way we can get it started now is if we push it off and dump the clutch...at this time ive been told its the crankshaft sensor...I took the advice of one of you guys and ran a 12g wire to the solenoid wire back up to the battery to see if it was the starter but when i did that it just engaged the fuel pump started shooting gas up in the fuel rail...did not hear the solenoid or starter engage...I appreciate any help we can get...thanks again guys
