Hey there,

I just bought a 86 toyota 4x4. I'm told its in excellent condition for its year. I'm new to driving a manual car, so I'm posting this to get some input from you guys. I took it on the highway yesterday and the most I could get it to go was about 60-65. Is that normal for these trucks? Am I doing something wrong? At first I thought I might be stuck in a gear designated for 4wd. I checked and I was in H2. I assume that's the correct gear. Anyone have any idea if I can get this car to go faster?
