Alright so you obviously take your rig on some serious trails and you have a locker in the front of an IFS setup. Maybe I've just been looking at what the SAS guys say but it seems everyone else thinks it's crazy to put a locker in the front of an IFS. I was thinking about an aussie locker for the front, is this a bad idea. Any help is appreciated. love your truck by the way.

    tc,
I'm gonna be in Longmont next week and would like to do a little 4wd trip. I've read of some good ones near there and was wondering if you'd be interested to do some guiding? I'll have my rig there (91, diesel, locked f/r). I like your take on ifs and how far it will go. Give me a call if interested,

The sliders are from 4Crawler, the rear exo and front bumper are custom from AllPhase here in Longmont, CO. I built the rear bumper.

Sliders are 2x2x.188", rear bumper is 2x2x.120, exo is 1.5" x .120, front bumper is mostly 2x4x.120

hey, ive seen ur rig around yota tech quite a bit. its exactly the same as my 4runner and i've been looking around for some armor since i got it. anyhow, i was wondering if you purchased your sliders/rear quarter armor or made them yourself and what exactly they're made of?

    thanks,

Depends - no biggie on a trail-only truck ... I would be PISSED to see my tires wearing any faster than required on the road though!

I had seen in a few places that some people use older chevy 350 leaf springs to raise their ride. Any idea on how well this works

thanks for all of the input on the sliders. i didn't know i had messed up that bad on them. they seemed strong on what i used them for. i'll get to cutting out some parts for it today.
