Hey there! How have you been?
How are my old 4R's parts doing on yer 4R?

I'm working on getting a 4R or Taco (finally!) for our farm here in Oregon. At the moment I'm digging into fuel supply issue on my '77 hilux (2wd) that I picked up!

    cheers,
    Aaron

TheOriginal- I don't speak Spanish so used babelfish to translate. Hopefully it did well.

I don't have HIDs with ballasts, I have cheap ebay bulbs- GP Thunder 8500k. Claim to be HID but there's no ballast or gap, they're just a whiter output. They aren't that much brighter but I find it easier to see with the whiter bulbs. Looking at the Kensun bulbs with the ballasts I don't think they would fit in my truck because of the dual batteries. I am not saying they will or won't in yours because no experience with them.

Since I happen to have a cheap Walmart bulb on the driver's side and one of the GP thunders on the passenger here's a comparison:

Here are a couple of HID threads to start..

    Hi Hab,
Sorry I've been MIA! Just finished school and graduated with my degree in physical therapy so have been crazy busy studying for my licensing exam!
Thank you all for the kind words and I definitely will be staying!!! I do however need to go to the forum that can help me with choosing quality parts for Thomas, my 4Runner (1996), any suggestions as to which forum would be most helpful? I need to replace plugs and coil wires and want to make sure I get quality parts!!!

Thank you again! I'll be seeing you around soon!
