Black Wheeler's Off-Road Alloy Wheels

I've finally put my winter tires on my new Black Powder Coated Alloy Wheels on last night.

I think they look sweet. I tried to get some pics showing how much further they stick out, but it was dark so they're not the best.

Before:

After: (The snow is kind of over powering in the pic )

Tire comparisons:

The new wheel:

One more for good measure:

I think wheelers wheels are nice!! and I love the black, looks great! When summer rolls around you should put your summer tires on your wheelers wheels too.

For sure. These are not just winter wheels, I've wanted these bad boys for a long time

I'm probably going to get new summer tires next year anyway. I have to drive on enough project sites that I should be prepared. The good gas mileage with my current ones is nice though

are they the 16's? or did you drop to the 15's? I am really lusting after a set of the 15" ones for my 04 Taco, I had my heart set on chrome (mall crawler) but the more i look (I noticed when I had my spare on a few days ago) that my truck would look good I think on black wheels.

EDIT: If any one is any good with photochop, PM me, I wanna get you to do a comparison shot for me...

They are 16x8's. I got a little scared when I put the first front wheel on. I hadn't thought about possible brake caliper rubbing. I had a sudden shot of fear that my Highlander package could be a problem, but they fit just fine. I'll have to pay close attention when I proceed with the Tundra brake upgrade.

I think the wheelers 16's will clear the tundra's. But of course their 15's won't.

No, I'll be keeping them.

(No one would want to pay the shipping even if I did want to sell them Everything comes in/out by barge)

Looks sweet! I love the black look! Are you running 285's? If so, have you noticed rubbing on the pinch weld or plastic parts?

They're 265 70 R16's. They just look bigger than my bald summer tires

I sure am glad I got my winter tires on. Our lastest weather statement is crazy! :shocked

"Snow will increase over the area this evening and become heavy
overnight. Total snow accumulations of up to 25 inches are
expected by late Sunday afternoon. In addition... locally gusty
winds to 50 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow."

Thanks!

The rig gets warm enough to melt the snow off the hood, but it freezes before it makes it off the bumper

The highs are about 25 deg F, so its not cold by any means.

We only got about 8 inches of snow today, so I'm happy :bigclap:
