Well you used to live here in Spo-ka-nee, [ Thanks Paul jr. American Chopper]
anywhere has to be more exciting than here.
The south hill could be 4x4 country in the winter, ice, snow...or the summer for that matter, potholes, road construction etc.

Used to be great entertainment watching those idiots come down off the hill on snow days. I saw like 20 fender benders one day with 5 miles of my house. Don't complain about Spokane I'd live there anyday over here. Have you ever heard of Suburban white Guys? They live out there in the Valley and do some awesome offroad vids. Check out their website at suburbanwhiteguys.com Have you ever gone exploring/wheeling up behind CDA like around Canfield, Bunco, Spades Mt? If not goto the Fernan Ranger office right at the edge of Fernan lake and get a map of that area. You have some sweet areas less than an hour from there. Deer Park area has some decent wheeling too. Also check out http://www.cwoffroaders.com/forum/ They are a group of guys that wheels out of Wenatchee. I used to hang out with several of them.

Yeah I know what you mean about the snow days, and the fools coming off or trying to get up the south hill. Major money maker days for bodyshops, and towing service's.
I work for the local government, and work on snowplows, de-icer trucks, sander trucks in the winter. It snowed today, all has melted off but winter has begun.
I used to cut fire wood up above 4th of July pass, and have been back in behind Fernan. Huge area's to wheel and explore in.
I'm originally from the metropolis of Tekoa, 35 miles southeast of Spokane.
Good wheeling down there too, our favorite deer/elk hunting area.
I'll check out the sites you listed, Thank's!

Parasail, eh? They've been doing that about 30 years off of Tekoa Mountain. A few have dropped to the ground from 1500' and bought the farm from there.
I've never been ballzy enough to try it, just sat and drank beer and watched em.

Tri-cities area here. not alot of people on here from the east side of the state. maybe 3 or 4 from the tricities here, and only 1 (me) that posts often enough to make it count. I think theres 2-4 from the spokane area as well. not sure though.

Lol, when I played baseball in Montana, the rowdy fans found out that I lived near Hanford. All game I was heckled, wondering if I glowed in the dark, haha.

Yeah, lol, I know what you mean.
A freind of mine is a security guard at Hanford. When we go deer hunting we tell him he does'nt need hunter orange, he simply glow's in the timber.
Kinda like the predator in the movie predator.
