I just yesterday purchased a 1995 4Runner Limited, runs great, but after I got it home and turned off the engine (ignition still on) I heard a cycling sound from the left front. On further investigation, looking into the engine compartment, there is a cycling sound coming from under the right side fender, near the fuel injection set up, sort of a whirring thump, sounds like a pump trying to go. Seems only to happen when the engine is hot, and continues when the engine is running. Sorry about my ignorance about this vehicle, but I'm hoping someone can tell me what this is and whether it's major.

 

Do you have a power antenna, and does it work correctly?

 

power antenna i bet, just got my 4runner, heard that (my broke butt never had anything w/ a power antenna before) and upon lookin around thats what it was.
