Hello All, my transmission is stuck in reverse. I've replaced the shifter seat bushing, and shifter cap bushing but I still can't get it out of reverse! Any ideas? Thanx-Hiriden

 

When you put your shifter back in did you get the arm between the shift leavers?

 

I think what your saying is, did I put the ball on the end of the shifter to which the shifter cap bushing goes, into the socket that rides on the rails inside the transmission... and, yes I did.... If I misunder stood what you are saying please correct me!

 

After replacing the shifter seat bushing, I noticed that I could move the stick into and out of the "reverse" position, but that no gear change was actually made [when I put the stick in the "neutral" position, I was still in reverse... so I'm thinking something is broken inside the tranny. Any thoughts, ideas, comments would be appricitated!
