4Runner: LED Blinker moved to Aux, Driving light installed in Blinker spot
I have a broken blinker housing in my '99 T4r. rather than replace it (or the set), I want to remove both blinkers and mount them in the 2" round aux light spot using these LEDs:

To fix the blinker failure detection, i have found these "Load Equalizers": go to the middle of the page. I think i need the 15-25 ohm equalizer for each led module.

Lastly, I want to make some bracket/housing that fits into the stock blinker location and holds a rectangle driving light. something similar in style to these:

These are some pics of what i want to do and how it might look:
Stock on my T4R:

What the LED blinker housing might look like:

What the Driving light might look like:

Different version of the driving light:

Fabrication for the driving light might be more difficult since they are either going to stick out a lot, or be too small. Fortunately, there should be little fab for the blinkers, since the stock hole opening is almost exactly 2" and the purchased LED module is 2". I do have access to a machine shop and welding equipment to fab the driving lights though.
has anybody done either of these? are there any writeups? Do any of you have any reccommodations before i get started? I know some people have used LEDs as blinkers, but they also modified the flasher module or purchased a new one to control the speed. I am wondering if these Load Equalizers work well.
Thanks,
David
