So I recently bought a used set of Brembos from a local guy who's starting a business specific to 300Zs. He knows a guy who can take Brembo blanks for our trucks and slot, dimple, and plate with zinc for $220 or so. Would you guys be interested? The zinc plating would be over the entire rotor including the braking surface but that is supposedly burned off by the first few stops.

What do you guys think?

I just went and bought two brand new vented rotors locally for under $50 for my 85. Not sure an off-roader needs that much rotor.

 

I went to a local shop and they quoted me $249 for cross-drilled insisting that there was no such thing as Brembo blanks

I was just wondering if there was anyone interested so I could pass on some savings.
