FJ Cruiser lower control arm skid plates

What will they think of next.
See what they are cookin' up at www.tlc4x4.com
The above site is home to some really cool custom 'Crusiers including the new FJ Cruisers, and the remake of the FJ 40 called the Icon as seen in 4WD Toyota Owner magazine a few months back.

In the new September/October issue of David's magazine is an article on some skid plates made for the rear lower control arms.

I scanned in a picture, as TLC does not have them on their website as of yet.
Yes, crooked scan, kind of hard to get a mag in there straight.

They look pretty easy to install.
In the future I am going to look into the beefier control arms like Steve at Sonoran Steel makes, but these would be a good addition too as they protect the actual bracket that the control arms bolt into.

Actually it doesn't look very heavy duty.

These are beefy and require more work to install: http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/...ket-p-125.html
