Most of you probably read the post I put up about some dumb contrators watering my truck with a sprinkler. Well after washing the truck today the damage is worse than I thought. My truck has white water spots all over it and they won't come off!! Does anyone have any ideas on how to get that stuff off? I finally got most of it off the glass and chrome but it's still not good. On top of that I Wrecked my front windshield!!:mad: I used one of them sponges with the green stuff on one side like for scrubbing dishes to get rid of the streaks and it scratched the glass!!!!!! Luckily my insurance should cover it but I will have to pay the deduct.... I was so pissed when the sun shone through it today and I realized it was all scratched to h*ll. So now I have that and some water spots.. So how can I get rid of these blasted things???? BTW used some turtle wax in just a small area on the fender and it didn't phase it!

 

I'd still try and contact the outfit Joey that contracted those guy's and show them what hapened.

I'm not sure if Griot's glass polish will be strong enough, but it might.
You can try calling them too.
They close in 10 minutes though, or at 5 PM my time, which would give you 70 minutes.

Corey thanks man. I am not sure what would happen if I try and show this to someone. I am going to ask around work and see what the cars next to me thought. I mean there was a 7 series Black Beemer sitting right next to my truck and I am sure it looks terrible! That musta been some seriously nasty water!

 

joey what you need to try is a product called "T-Cut" that should clean the whole rig back ot a great finish. it is a very mild rubbing compound . it is easy to use as all you have to do is apply it like a wax and then rub it off do a panel at a time and when you are all done wax it with Auto-glym. you will be impressed with the results.

Try a light solution of baking soda and warm water. About a 1:8 ratio. If that doesn't cut it, try adding a bit more baking soda. I use this to get the calcified sprinkler water off my 4runner. It works well for me.
