Last night when i picked up my truck from getting 156.00 worth of work done i dove home got about 2 miles from my house and noticed a burning smell from my motor. I stopped checked it out and my oil line going to the relocation kit blew at the filter!!!

i was able to cut the line and stretch it about 2 inches to make it fit. . .


Does anyon know were i can get either steel braid for the line, or a steel braided line to replace the lines???

 

Damn what are you guys doing to these lines? I've had the originals hooked up for almost 6 years now and never so much as had a seep. Maybe either not tightening the clamps enough or so tight that your breaking the hoses?

 

this last time i went to the shop to get my header done i told the mech to fix my kit so it wouldn't leak again. He hooked me up with hydrolic lines with crimp ends on it so that it now can handle like 2100psi, don;t think i will be having any trouble from the kit anytime soon!!!!
