Ok i put in a new clutch and after wards the 4wd light stays on.
It probably has somethign to do with that little wire thig nthat goes in the t case. Could i have installed it wrong?

Anywya help me out correcting the problem and by the way i have a 87 4runner

im unfamilar with the t-case, but what it sounds like it is shorting out somewhere, check the electrical connection for wires touching. also, did you move the t-case when installing the clutch? it might be the sensor for 4x4 needs to be adjust to where it just turns on when in 4wheel drive and off when in 2.

i dunno, maybe im totally on crack, but those are the two things id look for, tho im new to this 4x4 thing.
