Diff Armor

Im looking around for diff armor for my 02 Tacoma TRD rear end that is going under my truck. A found a few different versions. For one thing, Allpro has the skid, then they also have a "Diff Dent Eliminator"... What is the difference? Obviously the skid covers the bottom of the diff as shown, but what does the diff dent eliminator do? There is no pic of it installed. Also, I found a diff skid by sky manufacturing... What are your opinions on these? Anybody know of any others that they like?

This is the page on Allpro:

Sky-Manufacturing page:

Here are some pics of them as well:

Installed, the bottom one looks like this.

It just protects the ring gear from being bashed.
From the marlin page

I would get the bigger guards like your first pics to protect the whole bottom half of the axle. The housing isn't very thick.

Sorry about the pic, I thought I posted the thumbnail like the other pics from Allpro... And I didnt review my post once posted. My apologies.

Ok thanks for the clarification on the "Diff Dent Eliminator". The Allpro and Sky gaurds seem very similar, and the Sky is probably cheaper. The sky is $35 and the Allpro is "Out of stock" so I dont know the price, but they do have one similar for $69 so it is probably around there.
