Looking to do a 3 inch lift- am I missing anything?
And dont tell me Tundra/TRD springs, I have already decided between OME and that.
OME881
OME891
N91S
N86
2 1/2" Trac/Panhard Bar Drop Bracket from Sanoran Steel
Tapered 1" Front Differential Drop Spacers from Sonoran Steel
Thats my list thus far, will this fit 285/75/16's fine? Should I get a set of trim packers for the front? I am thinking Kuhmo Mud tires. . .
Thanks

you don't want the 881's, they will not lift high enough for the 285s We had ours changed out on our 97 from 881's to 882's, and we are running 265/75's. If you run that front spring, your truck will be canted wayyyy forward, and you will rub all day long. Even there, you may have to take a hammer to the inside of the fenders a bit, but that's only a maybe. I would do:
882's front
891 rear
1inch BL, and you clear fine.
Get all the other goodies from steve, and you'll be set.

You should get a set of 1-1.5" spacers to go with those 881s up front and level out the ride so you can clear those 33s.
The 891s in the back should be fine and no, you don't need a brake line extension.

I really like my OME rears and if I knew what I knew then, I would have probably just went w/ OME's all around.

Ours work great, but it sounds like others have had problems. Check into it a bunch, hate for you to get something that doesn't work. I think that with the spacers, and the body lift, you should be able to clear the 33's. PM Ric, he's got only spacers on stock springs with a BL and clears 285's with a tiny rub here and there.

Ok, I have read Bamachem's thread, and I think I will go with his front setup.
How many inches will the 891's give me? Will it be level with the TRD Tundra 4WD Front Coils
Thanks for all of your help

891s will give you aprox. 2.5" lift when settled. Mine was like 3" at first, after a year it has been holding steady at 2.5". I see you have a 99, so you can always do the bump stop chop lift, and get the .5" back, you should be able to level it out with any front setup fairly easily.

Alright, I am bringing this one back.
Now I am leaning towards 882's based on this chart from TTORA
http://ttora.com/wiki/index.php/OME
Is there something I should know? Are 882's for Taco's the same as 882's for 4Runners (stupid question I know)?
Based on that it should give me 2- 2.5 inches of lift. That wont tear CV boots like crazy will it?

881's give you 1" of lift, that is in the real world. They are a spring designed for a considerable amount of weight on the front over stock. So you have a 3/16" plate bumper and a M9000 winch, right?
My advice is to find someone with the 881's and ride in the truck. It is extremely stiff, because no-one has the front end weight to run them. They are for a Toyota Prado which is considerably heavier and designed to give that truck 20mm of lift. There is you inch. Just add a spacer to your stock coils, spacers on 881’s is buying twice. Although 99 factory coils are 1” taller than your 98 factory coils, you could just get a new set of 99 coils and probably get more lift than the 881’s.
Next down the stiffness ladder is the 2.0 Sway-A-Ways, but those are for Desert Racing and should be so.
You can get a kit put together by someone who has bought literally everything out there and tired it all or you can try to piece something together. You will get a million opinions and most of them you will not agree with after the install.
The other thing you should look into, is the length of the front Old Man Emu shock and CV axle failure due to over extension of the CV, literally ripping the cage out. There are threads on this here on Yotatech, look them up.
Prado parts are OK, but there is alot better stuff out there these days.
