E-Lockers - Do I have 'em?

E-Lockers - Do I have 'em?
Maybe I should have posted this in the newbie section...
Anyways, I have a 98 4runner SR5 4wd auto.
1. I think E-lockers was an option for my vehicle. Am I right?
2. Is there an easy way (ie VIN) to identify?
I almost never use 4lo (maybe 1-2 times when I got stuck pulling a friend out of a bog). But I thought I might want to try going on a few trips this year, and started wondering. I wasnt concerned in the past, but... (I barely even use the 4hi).
Thanks

tdk...
First, welcome to the board. Second...if you have an e-locker, you will have some sort of button that will engage the e-locker. Look for the button. Or, get under the truck and look at the rear "pumpkin". If you have an e-locker, you will see the "servo" or engaging device piggybacked onto it. Hope that helps.

TDK-
It isn't lockers (plural) it's locker (singular). You just have one in the rear (if you have one at all).

Ahhh,
Thanks for the clarification guys! This place rocks!
Obviously, I had not seen the button = I have no button = I dont have a locker (not lockers!)...
I think the first time I started wondering was when I put in white guages (the "reverse glow" or whatever they are called). One of the cutouts read RR-Diff (or something like that).
Now that I am spending more time on the rig...
Anyways, Thanks to all of you!
