valve body upgrade
I am considering the valve body upgrade for my automatic transmission. I think this company is selling a kit for this upgrade for do it yourselfers. Does anyone know if this can be done or is it a must to ship it IPT or level 10?

Wow... I wouldn't touch it. Especially from a company who hasn't updated their website since 2000, doesn't post prices, doesn't have a real domain, the contact email address might as well be AOL... ugh, not a very good busines presence in this day & age.
There are a couple of threads running right now about VB upgrades... There's a lot to find by SEARCHING as well. Bottom line, if you screw it up, you're gonna be in a junkyard looking for a whole tranny to get a replacement. I went through trying to buy JUST a VB a while ago...
This isn't something to mess with... Like Matt said, ship it to someone who's done the work.
fwiw... this thread has some backgrounder on what's _really_ involved:

DO IT! Make sure you use IPT. I had a very good experience with them, in fact I'm about to have them do a VB for my fzj80 as well.
Its a very simple process, just really messy if your doing it on your back. I think it took me about 2hrs to take out, and 2 more to put back in, and that was really taking my time. Here is a thread where I talked about it:

You can't go wrong with this upgrade, I'd even recommend it for someone going N/A.
