so having a look under my truck the other day, and noticed that it seems like there may be a mount or bushing missing from the b pillar body mounts? both driver & passenger side. heres what i mean:




is that gap normal? after i got my sliders on and banged em around a few times, i noticed a 'thunk' on the left side rear after going over things like speedbumps, driveway bumps etc..sounding like the slider banging against the pinch weld (its pretty close up there...almost touching maybe). or is it body mount related? i dont hear it on the passenger side, and theres much more clearance between the slider & pinch weld.

i went to the wreckers the other day...seems like other 3rd gens are similar? does yours look like this?

Yeah mines like that too. It right freaked me out the first time I saw that. I went scrambling through all the tech articles and posts on yt that may have a glimpse of it. The slider posts had more pics, and I was relieved when all the runners looked like that. I still dont think it looks right..haha

 

cool..thanks guys. yeah, sometimes i wonder about the design of certain aspects of the runner (sunroof & this mount issue)...veird schtuff i was worried i was gonna have to get some new body mounts
