Well after much debate and running out of things to do, I decided I would build a similar light bar to the one on the Ultimate Tacoma http://4wheeloffroad.com/2004ultimat..._taco_23_s.jpg
. NOw the frame itself I imagine wouldn't be so hard to make, and just as easy add the mounting tabs for the roof mount and the tab for the super cool actuator. I've looked at as many pictures as I could find and think this is something I dont need " but justified" could use. I would run 4 piaa 580's and that would be that. I figure I can weld the mounting tabs to the yakima cross bar, given I shave the plastic coating off a bit, and them mount the actuator on one of what used to be tie down rings on the roof rack, then run my wiring and be done with it.
I will let you know as this build goes foward and of course post pictures.
