05 wheels for my 01 Taco?

05 wheels for my 01 Taco?
I'm looking to replace my 01 tacoma wheels with a set of 05 wheels maybe. a couple of mine are warped from the lovely Massachusetts potholes. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that my factory 01 wheels are 16x7 +15mm offset. The 05 wheels are 16x7 +30mm offset (I think). Has anyone put these on an 01? I am concerned about hitting the suspension since these wheels will stick in 15mm more. Will these work?
I also noticed that for 01, they had the same wheels with no offset, and a 15mm offset? Were one for the Tundra, the other for the Tacoma?
Last one, what is the backspacing for the 15mm offset and the 30 mm offset?
