Swamper TSL's and a loose gas cap

As everyone knows the Super Swamper TSL's have a lot of vibration when rolling. I'm running those tires and every once in awhile my check engine light comes on. so i check my gas cap and it doesn't seem loose but when i take it off and put it back on it the check engine light goes off. I think the vibration from the tires is causing it to come loose. Does anyone have this problem or had this problem and fixed it? Thanks any info will be helpful.

well is your vehicle an 84? if so maybe its time for a new gas cap. i know that the rubber seal eventually degrades and doesnt snug up right. so maybe the vibration is causing the seal to loosen if the cap is still tight. just a thought for the odd occurance.

I know you are looking for a cheap easy solution but I ran centramatic balancers on my 83 truck for a long time and they easliy handled my 35x15.5 tsl's that always chunked. Always rebalanced themselves and never had any issues.

Hmmm... It's a new one on me... If it related to the cap, maybe it's a pressure issue, I know that I have had a few situations where I thought two issues were related, but weren't - They just both decided to go weird at the same time...
