Finished Tacoma Satoshi with Sonoran/Stubbs hoops on the TJM

The other thread got a little jumbled up with the search topic and I think the hoops themselves need a new thread. I definitely want to give props to Steve and Richard for their excellent work and customer service. You guys rock!

Man, if it wasn't for the HOA, I'd be able to wash my truck and make it a REALLY nice photo

Yeah, the hoops thing isn't for everyone.
I just need to get some black fingernail polish to touch up some spots that got messed up on install and modification (hood release) but all in all I'm really happy with the end product

To be honest Peter, I was kind of unsure about how the Satoshi looked in that previous thread. I figured it was the lighting or something. I was right. That looks great!

Yeah, Peter, the grill looks absolutely fab, but the hoops... eh, I guess it's an aquired taste. Nice job though!

When you first posted the hoops awhile back, I wasn't a fan. But after seeing it w/ the Satoshi-style grill, I'm really diggin' the look of your Taco. The combo looks really good to me.

If anything, it's definitely your own style.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I'm really happy with the way the grill came out - and the hoops is just the icing on the cake. Now if I could only get the fenders fixed up!

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm finding myself parking backside in so that I can leave looking at the front end more often
I'm not really the type of person to black-out everything but I am definitely liking the lack of chrome.

Sure looks like it
I can see why someone wouldn't want to though... it really is a pain in the butt. Now that I'm done I can see a whole bunch of places where I could improve and do it better if I were to do it again.

hey dude..
that looks badass! definitely a unique lookin taco front end! at first i wasnt too fond of the angry eyebrow hoops...(bugged the crap outta me when i saw angry eyelids on modded vw's..i guess it was a euro thing)...but with the forward lean of the hoops...hoowah. niicely done!

i feel ya on the amount of work needed, especially if you want it looking factory fresh. i just kinda finished doin my satoshi...but havent painted the grill trim flat black yet.
