all of a sudden my power door lock in my driver side is not functioning..sometimes it does and sometimes it does not, and you can always see its trying to work but just cant seem to get the juice to actually pop the lock open or closed..the only thing i can think of is that its somehow related to when i got the interior drivers side kick panel area partially submerged that something down there got wet related to the door lock, but the actuator itself should be high enough in the door where it wouldnt get wet from that right...had about four to six inches of water in the interior on the drivers side from a wheeling incident..

 

I got a similar affliction in my Runner...sometimes lately (but usually unreliable) the driver's side lock will open (& close) all four locks, but usu. not--just itself. I've had it for a year and it's always worked fine, and I didn't submurge it or anything. But the passenger side unlocks all doors all the time, so I kinda think the driver side's electric locking mechanism's just kickin the bucket. Kinda irritates me, though, makes me wanna have the simple roll up windows and standard lock--4 wheelin and electricity don't match like bread and butter
