Are there any 3vze mechanics in New York? I am looking for someone who knows the 4Runner trucks.

I already have the let's change the part and see what happens mechanic, lol.

well im out on the island...whats wrong

 

There are a couple of issues that I would like to look into.

The front end on the passenger's side is making a metal to metal rattle sound. It happened after I discovered some newspaper between the fender and the grill and removed it. It seems to be getting louder. I can't find what is touching. I think some brackets are missing when comparing to the other side.

On a humid/raining days the engine turns but won't start up right away. It usually starts up immediately.

Basically I just want to establish a friendship with someone who knows the 4Runner trucks and can guide me. I usually just read the Chilton or Haynes books before I attempt the fix myself or before I go to the mechanic.
