I saw a truck like mine today only blue and an SR5 version. It had a winch on the front but the winch looked like it was mounted on a stock looking bumper. I mean it was chrome and had perfect places for the blinker/turn signal lights built into the chrome and the chrome had a very similar stock look to it. This winch looked like something Toyota would put out, if they offered a stock winch for this gen of trucks. Did toyota ever put out a stock winch to your knowledge?

 

I've never seen one in person, but in my '86 FSM, it has a whole section on working on the stock winch....and IIRC, so does my haynes manual.....
