I'm wanting to build a roof rack for my third gen can I see some pics of other ones people have built? Thanks in advance....

 

well mine is for a tacoma but hopefully it will give you a few ideas

 

I forget the exact size. It has 6 tabs for lights 4 fronts, 2 rear. Has a floor, and removeable (via thumbscrews) 1 inch cross bars so that I can mount Yakima stuff. The other side has 2 welded bolts for a hi-lift mount/shovel. The lights are below the level of the top of the rack for oversized items. It's super sturdy and I can stand on it 200lbs with no problems.

I really wish I kept the info for the guy who made this, I found him selling his stuff on e-bay and asked if he could do a custom for me. He did, and for a great price.
