How many here are using the WYSIWYG editor?

To be honest with you even I did not know about this here
I knew it was available over on the Atari UT2004 forum I use, and I thought you had to have the newer version of our software to use it.

Not so.
You have to go into your Control Panel and choose Options.
From there scroll to the very bottom and choose this:

Message Editor InterfaceWhen posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type. Basic Editor - A simple text box Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing Message Editor Interface: Forum SkinThere is more than one skin in which you can view the forums. If you would like to switch to a different skin, select it from this list.

If you use the Full WYSIWYG editor, you can edit your threads/posts much faster for fonts, colors, and other goodies.
You can also make live hyperlinks much faster this way too.

Gosh, even I learn something new every day.
As mentioned, I had seen this on other forums, I just never had it turned on for myself here.

Give it a try if you have not use it before.
It is so much faster to do stuff than the other way.

I didn't know we had it either. Trying it out now.

Google

Might be kinda buggy in FireFox.

Ah, I see. It doesn't like for you to type in your own code but rather to use the buttons at the top. I'm used to coding my posts on my own.
