i am already going march 22nd, and will try to have my 83 complete by then, but that is a long shot. i am taking it off work today.

 

joez, What all are you doing to it? I just ordered my OME lift coils, and hopefully I will have them on by then!!!

 

its a 1983 sr5 longbed right now it sits stock on 32's. starting spring break:
-63" chevys rear
-downey 3" in front(was going rear springs, but to much work)
-35 general grabber mt's
-5.29's front and rear
-spool rear, posi front(i know, but i am pulling the posi from the rear and putting it up front.)
and if i get to it
-5mge swap.(i know they say it wont fit, well, i will make it fit.)

we will see, i am still gathering parts for it, and am waiting on my new mig welder before i can get started. as that is the most important for this buildup. that and my cousin getting his shop opened so i can get this thing re-geared. if i dont have time to do it, i will be there stock, as i want to do it all at once.

 

Its on my calendar...Im trying to rally some troops up in St. Louis. We'll be caravaning up if anyone from the area wants in.

How often do people check this forum category? I wouldnt have seen it if you didnt email me...maybe you should post on the 4Runner forum too...

 

I will not be able to make it that day, but if ya'll decide to stay until the 13th, let me know. I will make it then. (I have not a CLUE what I will be driving though... probably yet another Enterprise rent-a-Corolla).

Ill consider it, but it depends on the weather. We are planning on setting up camp on the 11th somewhere close by. Anyone know a good spot? People are more than welcome to join us too...

Sure, name somedates, I justpickedthat weekend, becauseIfigured if we had adate, then things would start falling into place.

I should be able to do the 13th, instead of the 12th, but not both.

 

13th is good for me right now. Either that or the weekend before.

Forest? Yeah...Im busting his balls about being a poser and getting him to take his GC out. We made a deal, so he "should" bring it, but he's kind of scared. Poor baby (he'll enjoy reading this). Dan will bring his Durango if Forest brings the GC. There are a couple of other 4x4s that are considerign too...

 

OK, so the 13th ?? I need to know so I can ask work off, as I am taking some days off(due to other issues)

 

Hey guys. I am out for this one for sure. BUT I will make the next one! Is there any place near there that offers good Camping? You know, not overcrowded, cool trails, on a river or lake etc. I bought an airmattress and am planning on sleeping in back of the 4Runner, instead of a tent. Any cool ideas about that?

Awe crap...i didnt realize that that's palm sunday weekend. I definitely cannot make it this weekend...wedding plans are being made then. :pat: Sorry I totally didnt realize this. Im game for the weekend before this one...or the weekend after easter.
