Near Cleveland, would like to take my mostly stock 4Runner off road...anywhere near by?

Your options are to find private land near you and get permission to wheel it. Problem is, your area is rich in FarmLand so it may be tuff.

1) Haspin Acres in IN
2.) Creola in Hocking County
3.) Drive North to Michigan
4.) Drive to Paragon NE in PA

I know how you feel. It's tuff wheeling in Ohio and almost ALL of the known trails are in 3 Counties or down by Marrietta.

Do what I did, join a club, they know all the secret spots and have keys to all the private in-road gates.

Do what I did, get in tight with formulatoy#36. Let me tell you from experience, that man will drag you through the most scenic, crazy, amazingly fun trails you have ever experienced. Seriously, if your interested, put some 33"s on, add a locker, and call formulatoy! That man has got it going on as far as offroading in ohio goes.
