Question HELP! need info on 3.0 egine swap

I am thinking about swaping 3.0 v6 in my 92 toyota 4runner. What would be the best engine swap. 3.4 v6 or some small block chevy crate engine? what would be better on cost and labor?
Thx
Logan

^^What he said^^

Personaly though, I would go with a 7mgte or 1UZ swap, but they are not cheaper. 3.4 is the best for price.

Ok man, welcome to the forum, but there's the search feature, this topic has been talked about over and over and over and over... and you get the point. Many pages have already talked about what you need to do, how it works, etc, etc.

I would also say the 5V-ZE 3.4. But the 5M-GE, 7M-GE or 7M-GTE swaps offer alittle more power.

Like he said, SEARCH!

FYI: The newest issue (nov./dec.) of www.4wdtoyotaowner.com has a nice 3.0 engine swap guide. Buy a subscription.
