99 4runner limited aftermarket fender flares?

I have a 1999 4runner limited that is black with the gold/brown fender flares and running boards. I am trying to revamp it a little bit, and I have always wanted to get rid of the gold/brown color and either paint or put on aftermarket fender flares that are black. The problem is I can't find any aftermarket fender flares/running boards that are made for the limited model (i'm guessing because they already come with them standard.)

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any opinions or comments would be greatly appreicated.

THanks

bamachem's way would be the way to go but to answer your question Bushwacker makes the same flares as the OEM's. I believe they may be 1/2" less wide than stock.

Hijack

bamachem, are those extra pieces on the bumper from the flare part of the flare or a completely separate piece? I want to upgrade to these types of flares but I don't have a limited and think it would look weird without the pieces that go on the bumper.

the problme w/ removing limited flares and going w/ bushwackers will be the holes that are left in all four doors. those side panels need drilled holes in the doors. thus, youll need those filled, sanded, primed and painted. added expense.

best to take andy and ctapia's route

the pieces on the bumpers are a seperate piece - front and rear.
